国連（United Nations）は、2025年日本国際博覧会（2025年大阪・関西万博）への参加と国際ジャズ・デーを記念し、万博会場内のEXPOナショナルデーホールにてジャズイベント「Speaking Jazz」を開催します。 本イベントは、ジャズという普遍的な⾔語を通じて国境、世代、言葉の壁を越えた多文化間の対話と調和を体現し、それによって国際対話と結束を呼び掛けることを目指しています。 音楽監督として関西出身の実力派トランペッター広瀬未来が全編の指揮を執り、世代を超えた先鋭プレイヤー12名による「広瀬未来ジャズオーケストラ」を編成。さらにNYを拠点に世界で活躍するグラミー受賞アーティスト小川慶太がパーカッションで参加し、圧巻のパフォーマンスを繰り広げます。 国内外からゲスト・ミュージシャンの参加も決定。55年前の大阪万博に出演歴のある森山良子は、半世紀以上の時を越えて再び大阪・関西万博の舞台に立ち、円熟したジャズソングの歌唱やジャズに触れた幼少期のエピソードなども披露する予定。さらにはUKを拠点に活動する多国籍ジャズ・ファンク集団INCOGNITO、ファンク/ラテンユニットのCITRUS SUNで知られるJean-Paul 'Bluey' Maunickも参加し、ステージをさらに熱く盛り上げます。 The United Nations (UN) will be holding the event “Speaking Jazz” at the EXPO National Day Hall to celebrate International Jazz Day at the EXPO 2025 in Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
